Audi is making its premium Silvercar rental service a bit more convenient for customers in select locations in San Francisco and New York City. They will now be able to schedule pick up and delivery of their vehicle either to their residential address or to a location of their choice for an extra fee.
Pick up and delivery of vehicle will be possible for Audi Silvercar users if the intended location is in Manhattan at 42nd Street, Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg Brooklyn, and Columbus Circle in New York City or Union Square in San Francisco. Audi has added this option to its Silvercar service following the expansion of the fleet with the company’s premium Q7 SUV.
Those who are now interested in having their vehicle delivered or picked up in the aforementioned location can place a request for the additional service through the Silvercar app or via the service’s website. Customers in these locations will thus no longer have to go to a Silvercar by Audi location to rent an Audi A4, Q5, A5 or Q7.
The requests for pick up and delivery have to be submitted at least 24 hours in advance of the rental. Audi cautions that this feature is dependent on vehicle availability and it cannot guarantee the fulfillment of all requests.
