We know that OnePlus has a couple of phones in the works at the moment. One of which is the OnePlus 7, and the other is a 5G smartphone that will be a separate device. However could the company have something else in the works? That’s what seems to be the speculation as a report from AllAboutOnePlus is reporting that the company has sent out invites for a closed door event that will be taking place at MWC 2019 later this month.
According to the invite, it reads, “Join OnePlus at Ultramarinos where drinks and a taste of the future will be on us. We’ll be celebrating MWC 2019 at this exclusive, invite-only event.” It is unclear what the event will be about but assuming that the OnePlus 7 or the 5G OnePlus handset is not announced at the event, it could be shown off behind closed doors where it could be held at a separate event later on.
Alternatively this event could be where OnePlus talks about their plans for the future and shows off upcoming products, services, and technologies that they might be considering implementing in their future products. Of course all of this is speculation at this point in time, so take it with a grain of salt.
