However according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he claims that the ceramic models could be making a comeback. According to Kuo, he claims that the 2019 model could come with a new ceramic casing design. It is unclear if this means that we will see the return of the Apple Watch Edition, or if it could come in a different form.
Kuo’s report goes on to add that Apple will be expanding ECG support to more countries. The rollout of ECG support is expected to be slow. This is because due to it being a medical feature, it needs to be compliant with local laws and regulations, which is why the feature is currently only available in the US at the moment.
It is unclear which countries could be receiving support for ECG yet, but we’ll have to wait and see. No word on when Apple will launch a new Apple Watch, but based on last year’s launch, it will most likely take place in the later part of the year where it will be alongside the 2019 iPhone.
