Now in a post on Reddit by u/hissick27, another photo of the alleged handset has surfaced. Judging from the photo, this image was taken in Korea where it seems that the handset’s design has been shielded by a protective case meant to mask its true design. The photo also seems to confirm the hole-in display where instead of a notch, Samsung will cut a hole out of the corner of the display to place the front-facing camera.
Other than that, it’s really quite hard to tell what the phone might actually look like. The post on Reddit also had comments from another person who goes by u/ActuallyWorkOnBixby who claims to have the phone as well (presumably that person is also working for Samsung). Based on the comments, apparently the phone is lighter than the Galaxy Note 9 despite it being about the same size.
They also confirm that the phone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, but claims that facial recognition is actually faster, which is said to be “working better” than previous gen versions of it, although whether or not it matches Apple’s Face ID is another story. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but we should have all the details in the next month or so.
