Now the GZ2000 is not the biggest TV announced at CES and is offered at 55-inch and 65-inch models. It doesn’t feature a flexible/rollable display either. It also seems to be using OLED versus other companies who are pushing QLED. However this is a TV that Panasonic is calling the “world’s most cinematic TV” thanks to Panasonic’s work with Stefan Sonnenfeld, a leading colorist who has worked with many filmmakers in the past.
The collaboration helps to ensure “unparalleled color accuracy and significantly better than average brightness levels”. The TV will also support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, along with upwards firing Dolby Atmos speakers which apparently are pretty unique as far as TVs are concerned.
As expected of pretty much all smart devices in 2019, the GZ2000 will also support both Alexa and Google Assistant that will allow users to control it using their voice. There is no word on pricing or availability just yet, although given its features it seems unlikely that this will come cheap.
