As to what Nintendo could announce is unclear since a good many of its own games have been launched, but maybe we could get status updates on games like Yoshi’s Crafted World, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Animal Crossing, and also maybe more details about the core Pokemon RPG that is supposed to launch this year.
Whether or not we will hear about new hardware is anyone’s guess as there have been rumors that Nintendo could be working on a refreshed Switch with improved specs. However an interview with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime back in December last year indicated that the company might not launch new hardware and will continue to focus on the current-gen Switch.
Despite the console being less powerful compared to the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, the Switch has managed to win over its critics with its unique playing style and also its selection of games. Take this with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll have more official details next week, which is actually an interesting choice when you consider that the presentation will take place mid-CES.
