Making an announcement a week ahead of CES 2019, LG has revealed their new flagship TVs that will come with its ThinQ AI integrated into them. What this means is that thanks to the use of an intelligent processor and deep learning algorithms, the TVs will be truly smarter than ever. According to LG, the use of AI means that the TV will be capable of analyzing source content and ambient conditions to offer up better picture and sound quality.
The AI is expected to debut in LG’s Z9, W9, E9 and C9 series of OLED TVs. In addition to its ThinQ AI system, LG will also be integrating Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa to its TV lineup. The former was available in the company’s 2018 TVs, and that partnership is expected to continue this year as well with the addition of Alexa.
All of these features and inclusions make it seem like LG’s upcoming TVs will be something to look forward to if you’re in the market for a more “complete” device. Unfortunately no word on pricing or availability just yet, but with CES kicking off next week, hopefully more details will be available then.
