Right off the bat in terms of design, the A940 is not your typical AIO desktop. According to Lenovo, the computer has been created with artists and designers in mind, thanks to its 27-inch display which users can configure to be a 4K touchscreen with Dolby Vision. There is a hinge that lets it be tilted until a 25-degree angle, making it easier for users to draw or sketch on.
There will also be a controller called the Lenovo Precision Dial that lets users make precise selections and adjustments during an editing process, which kind of reminds us of dials offered on devices like the Logitech CRAFT keyboard and the Microsoft Surface Dial. Lenovo is also boasting quite a number of speakers in the computer, where there will be front-facing speakers, and also speakers under the display.
It also looks like a very “neat” setup as on the base of the display, there will be a dock where the keyboard can be kept. There will also be a wireless charging dock to its side where you can wireless charge your smartphone while you work. There will also be a built-in webcam with integrated LED lights.
As for specs, we’re looking at the use of 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with support for up to 32GB of RAM, up to 2TB SATA HDD storage, and the use of AMD’s Radeon RX 560 GPU. The Lenovo Yoga A940 is expected to go on sale this March where it will be priced starting at $2,349.99.
