IO Interactive’s Hitman franchise has been going on for a while now, and if you are looking to relive some of the older titles in the franchise, you’ll be pleased to learn that Warner Bros. has announced that come 11th of January, 2019, they will be releasing the remasters of both Hitman Absolution and Blood Money.
Several years ago IO Interactive actually stated that they were open to the idea of remastering older Hitman titles such as Blood Money, and now it looks like they have managed to do just that. The gameplay of these remasters are expected to remain the same as the original versions, but it will now be playable in 4K resolution and at 60fps. There will be improved lighting and better controls, so if you enjoyed either of these titles, hopefully upgraded graphics and controls will make the experience even better.
This will be sold as part of the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One. Oddly enough there is no word on when the PC version might be released, but hopefully there will be a PC version later on. The bundle will be sold for $60 and will contain both titles. If you’ve never played either game before ahead of the reboot of the franchise, then this could be a good way of getting into it.
