A couple of major U.S. merchants will now begin accepting Apple’s mobile payments service. The company announced today that Apple Pay is coming to Target and Taco Bell. It also mentions that seventy four of the top 100 U.S. merchants now accept Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is already available at several nationwide retailers. Costco completed the rollout of the service to over 500 U.S. warehouses last year while CVC Pharmacy introduced Apple Pay at nearly 8,400 standalone locations as well.

Apple’s mobile payments service enables users to pay in stores securely through iPhone and the Apple Watch. Target, Taco Bell, Hy-Vee supermarkets in the Midwest, Speedway convenience stores and Jack in the Box will now be accepting Apple Pay. The addition of these national retailers means that 74 of the top 100 merchants in the United States now support the service.

With regards to Target, Apple Pay will be available in all 1,850 locations across the country in the coming weeks. The service can be used at more than 245 Hy-Vee stores in the Midwest starting today in addition to Speedway’s stores across the Midwest, East Coast, and the Southeast. In addition to that, Apple Pay is also rolling out to over 7,000 Taco Bell and 2,200 Jack in the Box locations over the coming months.
