With the near year just a week or so away, Microsoft has now confirmed the free Xbox Games with Gold for January 2019. It offers free titles for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 to those who subscribe to the Xbox Live Gold program. The company confirms the lineup for the coming month a week or so before the end of the ongoing month.
Xbox One owners will get Celeste for free from January 1st through the 31st. A $19.99 value, the game is a highly regarded platformer with 700+ scenes of challenges.
The $49.99 WRC 6 FIA World Rally Championship will be free for Xbox One from January 16th through February 15th. Players will be able to take their driving skills to the limit in this game which features 11 Super Special Stages including local split-screen multiplayer.
There’s Lara Croft: Guardian of Light for the Xbox 360. It will be available from January 1st through the 15th. Far Cry 2 will go free for Xbox Live Gold owners with an Xbox 360 from January 16th through to the 31st. Both of these titles are backward compatible which means they will be free for members on the Xbox One as well during these dates. The titles cost $14.99 and $19.99, for the Xbox 360 respectively.
