As some of you might have heard, Disney is working on a new Star Wars TV series called The Mandalorian, which apparently they chose over the Boba Fett movie. So far what we know is that actor Pedro Pascal has been cast as the show’s lead, but now in an official announcement on the Star Wars website, additional cast members have since been revealed.

According to the announcement which confirmed Pascal’s casting in the show, “He is joined by Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Affliction).”

The series will also feature Jon Favreau as its executive producer and writer. The series will also feature a bunch of different directors, with Dave Filoni directing the first episode, and other directors such as Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Taika Waititi are expected to direct the other episodes as well.

There is still no word on when the show will be launched, but as expected it will be an exclusive to Disney’s upcoming Disney+ streaming platform which is set to launch in 2019. Whether or not the show will debut with the service remains to be seen.
