For those wondering if Bandai Namco’s stance has changed a year later, unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case. According to Harada, he claims that Tekken 7 arriving on the Nintendo Switch will largely be dependent on the demand for it, where gamers will have to let them know if they want the game ported onto Nintendo’s console, otherwise there is a good chance that nothing will happen.
Exactly how fans are supposed to let Harada and Bandai Namco know is unclear, but that’s what gamers will have to do if they’re hoping for a chance that Tekken 7 will come to the Switch. What’s interesting is that Tekken 7 won’t be the only Bandai Namco fighting game that will be skipping the Switch.
The company recently announced their latest fighting game, Jump Force, which is a mashup of various characters from popular manga/anime series. The game will be launched for the PS4 and Xbox One, but once again there was no mention of the Switch.
