The rumors surrounding the Galaxy S10 smartphones have been claiming that there could be at least 3 different models in 2019, where there could be a budget model that will feature a flat screen instead of a screen with curved edges. This model is expected to be known as the “Lite” model.
However the Plus and Edge models get a bit confusing where presumably the Plus would refer to the larger phone, but at the same time what does “Edge” mean if at least two of the models will feature curved displays? Previously Samsung had used the Edge branding to indicate which model had a curved display, but now that they’re more or less default, we’re not sure what the Edge name is meant to indicate.
Either way it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now, but with Samsung expected to announce their phones in the early part of 2019, we probably won’t have to wait too long for the official details.
