The one platform that the game does not exist on would be the Nintendo Switch, unless you are to count the Japan-only streamable version of Odyssey. However there could be some good news for Switch gamers because according to a listing on German retailer MediaMarkt’s website (via Nintendo Everything), it looks like an Assassin’s Creed Compilation could be coming to the Switch.
Now we cannot guarantee or confirm that the listing on MediaMarkt is the real deal. Sometimes retailers can get ahead of themselves, or they just want to draw attention to their platform, or maybe they are mistaken, so try not to get your hopes up just yet. It is unclear which Assassin’s Creed games will be covered as part of this compilation, but if true, it could be a good way to bring older Assassin’s Creed games onto the Switch.
Like we said, the only option available now is to stream Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but that is exclusive to Japan for now, plus we’re sure that many gamers would prefer the flexibility of playing their game anytime and anywhere without having to rely on a stable internet connection to do so.
