According to their source, Fujifilm will apparently be launching the Fujifilm X-T30 in the first quarter of 2019, meaning that we should be able to see it arrive within January to March. This timeline doesn’t really come as a surprise especially when you consider the fact that it was in January 2017 that the X-T20 was launched, so to see its successor launch in the same timeframe two years down the road isn’t really that much of a stretch.
Unfortunately details about what kind of specs the X-T30 will bring to the table are unclear, but it will definitely be an upgrade over its predecessor, the X-T20, which had a 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor, 4K video, a touchscreen display, 91 autofocus points, and an electronic viewfinder. The X-T20 was also priced at $900 for the body-only so there’s a good chance the X-T30 won’t stray too far from that either, but we’ll have to wait and see.
