According to Epic’s patch notes for the game, they mention that Fortnite on Android will now support devices with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 and 710 chipsets. This means that handsets such as the Samsung A8S, Xiaomi Mi 8SE, Nokia 8.1, Oppo R17 Pro, Oppo R17, and Vivo Z3 should have no issues running the game.
Unfortunately for gamers who were hoping that the update would be bringing support for 60fps gameplay, it seems that you’ll still have to wait. Epic has not ruled out that possibility just yet, but have noted that it could be a while before Android devices will be able to enjoy the game in 60fps, something that Epic has recently enabled for Apple’s newer iPhones, and based on the patch notes, Apple’s second-gen iPad Pros as well.
The update for the game should already be live so head on over to your respective app stores to get your hands on the latest version of the game.
