YouTube’s VR app for the Oculus Go was actually announced back in September during the Oculus Connect 5 event, and now it looks like the app is finally available. So far YouTube’s VR app has been made available across a variety of VR devices, such as the PlayStation VR, Google’s Daydream headset, the HTC Vive, and the Samsung Gear VR, so we guess it was only a matter of time before it launched on the Oculus Go.
For those unfamiliar with the Oculus Go, it was announced earlier this year during CES 2018. This is a collaboration between Oculus and Xiaomi where it was launched with a price tag of $199. This does make it one of the more affordable VR headsets available in the market today, at least compared to other devices like the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift headset, both of which are more expensive and also require a computer to run it on.
