Blizzard has been steadily releasing various cinematics for World of Warcraft, in which it pieces together parts of the ongoing story. For those who are curious and want to see where this story leads, Blizzard has since released a new cinematic trailer dubbed “Lost Honor” that features Varok Saurfang and King Anduin Wrynn.
For those who haven’t been following the story, basically Saurfang had defected from the Horde which is currently led by Sylvanas, presumably due to her extreme actions in which Saurfang finds no honor in. He has since been captured by the Alliance, and this trailer shows Wrynn talking to Saurfang and possibly convincing him to work with the Alliance to try and stop Sylvanas.
We can only assume that Saurfang’s choice somehow ties in with the upcoming Patch 8.1, where according to reports it seems that Horde players will have to choose to pledge their allegiance to Sylvanas, or to Saurfang. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out, and if maybe Sylvanas might be redeemed in the end, or if she could end up being one of the final bosses for the expansion.
As usual Blizzard’s cinematics are top notch and “Lost Honor” is maintaining that level of quality, so if you have a few minutes to spare, it could be worth checking out.
