OnePlus Confirms Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T Launch For The U.S.

OnePlus recently launched a new color option for its latest smartphone in China. The company initially said that the Thunder Purple color for this device will only be available in its home country. Perhaps after seeing the response from its fans in this region the company has decided to launch the Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T in the United States as well.

OnePlus confirmed today that the OnePlus 6T will be available in Thunder Purple across Europe and the United States starting November 15th. The company does refer to it as a limited edition offering so it may not be restocked once the units sell out.

If you have been meaning to pick up the device in this color then it would be best to purchase it quickly ones it goes on sale on November 15th. The Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T has a frosted matte glass back and the same “S” curve pattern that’s visible under particular lighting conditions on the Midnight Black version as well.

Nothing else is different about this device. It’s the same Snapdragon 845 powered smartphone with a 6.41 inch AMOLED display that has an integrated fingerprint sensor. This particular color option will only be available for the 8GB/128GB model which is priced at $579. It will be available from the company’s website starting November 15th.
