PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG is an immensely popular game that’s yet to arrive on one of the most popular gaming platforms out there. The title is available on PC and Xbox One in addition to mobile devices but it hasn’t been released for the PlayStation 4 yet. That might change in the near future. A new report claims that the PUBG PS4 release is scheduled for December 2018.
The timeframe does make sense as it would be one full year in December since this title hit the Xbox One as a timed console exclusive. You would expect that the title would finally arrive on the PS4 now.
It won’t be surprising if the title does arrive on PS4 in the near future. Its imminent arrival was leaked by the Korean ratings board recently. Moreover, Sony’s own services recently revealed some PUBG images which further confirmed that gamers on Sony’s platform will be able to play PUBG soon enough.
There’s no official confirmation or denial about the launch from Sony or PUBG Corp. at this point in time. Many PS4 owners have certainly been made to wait a long time for this title. They would just be wishing that the game finally lands on their console of choice sooner rather than later.
