Microsoft Confirms Crackdown 3 Release Date

The wait is finally over for those who have been looking forward to Crackdown 3. Microsoft has now confirmed when it will be releasing this title. An open-world crimefighting game, Crackdown 3 has already been delayed quite a few times. It was supposed to be released on November 7th, 2017. The company has now provided a confirmed release date for next year.

The company had previously said that the title would be out in the second or third quarter of 2018 but that didn’t happen as well. It eventually said that the game would be released in February 2019.

A confirmed release date has now been provided. Crackdown 3 is going to be released on February 15th, 2019. The team has used all of the extra time to improve the game’s visuals and to further improve the overall quality. Crackdown 3 will get a new multiplayer mode called Wrecking Zone. This five-on-five deathmatch mode will have players fighting it out in a dedicated arena.

Microsoft also confirmed today that the original Crackdown game will be available as a free download from the Xbox Store starting November 30th. The original title allowed players to complete any mission or activity to progress further into the game. They weren’t required to follow a rigid set of missions to complete for that purpose.
