Over the past few decades, there have been waves of diet trends, with each trend claiming to be better and more effective. In recent times, one of the more popular trends is the Keto diet which is essentially a diet that is high in fat and low in carbs, which ironically enough is supposed to be better for burning fat.
Now whether or not you buy into this diet trend is entirely up to you, but if you are following the Keto diet, then you might be interested in a device called the Keyto. This is a breathalyzer that when used, will be able to tell if you are indeed keeping on track of your diet. This is done by measuring acetone in your breath which determines how well your body is burning fat (this metabolic state is known as ketosis, hence the name of the diet).
There will also be an accompanying app that will work with the device that shows you your levels. This means that you can track your progress throughout the week, where if some days your levels are lower, you might want to consider further refining your diet. Now we can’t speak to the effectiveness or accuracy of the Keyto, but it isn’t the first of its kind on the market.
Apparently one of the ways it plans to stand out from the competition is through its mobile app along with individualized meal recommendations. The Keyto is currently on Indiegogo trying to raise funds so if you’d like to learn more or pledge your support, head on over for the details.
