For those who hate the idea of dongles, you might be interested to learn that Hyper has recently launched a new USB-C hub that attaches to your MacBook’s charging adapter. As you can see in the image above, this is a hub that sits on top of your charging adapter in which it gives the charging adapter a USB-C port and two USB 3.0 ports.
This means that you can plug in devices that use USB-A to charge directly to the power brick which we magine should let it charge faster than plugging it to your computer. Also it seems that this will work for external hard drives and flash drives, where plugging it in will let you access files on those devices on your computer.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, Hyper will be selling the device for $40 for the 13-inch MacBook version, or $50 for the 15-inch MacBook version.
