Brigitte Courtehoux, the director of mobility services at PSA, confirmed during the Paris Motor Show that PSA is going to use 600 Chevrolet cars in Washington as its fleet for the service. It’s obviously far from the only company to launch such a service in the country.
The company has also been working on launching a car sharing service in Paris. It aims to launch a free floating service in the city which will enable drivers to pick up an electric car at one location and drop it at another as per their convenience.
No further details about PSA’s upcoming service are available at this point in time. It’s unclear how much access to the cars in the Washington fleet is going to cost. PSA’s expansion plans for the service are unknown right now as well so it can’t be said when this service will be expanded to other cities in the United States.
