Is OnePlus Teasing A Porsche Edition OnePlus 6T?

Despite being a somewhat small company, OnePlus has actually had a fair amount of success teaming up with other brands, such as Disney when they launched Star Wars version of the OnePlus 5T. Now it looks like OnePlus could have another collaboration in the works, or at least that’s what’s being speculated.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recent posted an image on Weibo which shows a Porsche with the OnePlus branding. This has led to speculation that maybe for the OnePlus 6T, customers might be able to expect a Porsche Edition of the phone. This is actually not the first time we’ve seen Porsche collaborate with companies. The carmaker has teamed up with BlackBerry in the past for Porsche Design versions of their phones, so to potentially see a Porsche Edition OnePlus 6T would not be a stretch of the imagination.

That being said, OnePlus did tweet that they would have a special announcement to make on Monday. This seems to hint that the OnePlus 6T could be announced, or maybe the announcement might have something to do with Porsche, but either way we won’t have to wait much longer to find out.

What’s interesting is that there were initial reports suggesting a mid-October announcement, but now it looks like we could be seeing the phone much earlier than anticipated. In any case what do you guys think? Is a Porsche Edition OnePlus 6T something you might be interested in?
