Now according to reports, it seems that the phone is expected to go on sale on the 6th of November, about a week or so after its official announcement. This doesn’t really come as a surprise given that we usually see companies make their phones available a week or two after it has been announced. However no pricing has been mentioned yet but given what we’ve seen in the past, don’t be surprised if the OnePlus 6T is priced slightly higher than its predecessor.
Some of the specs that OnePlus has confirmed so far includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. This feature debuted earlier this year with Vivo showing it off at CES 2018, but it hasn’t really found its way to many handsets so far, which we reckon could help OnePlus set themselves apart from the competition.
It is also expected to feature a larger battery, and the OnePlus 6T will finally mark OnePlus ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack. Other possible and likely specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 6-8GB of RAM, and from what we can tell from the leaked renders, a dual camera setup on the back and a much smaller notch on the front.
