OnePlus has been dropping bits and pieces of information concerning its next smartphone over the past few weeks. It’s something that the company has done since the very beginning to drive up hype for the device before it’s launched. OnePlus has now revealed that the OnePlus 6T is going to come with a new user interface and improved navigation gestures.

It hasn’t shown off the new user interface just yet. That will obviously be revealed once the device itself is announced. What the company has said is that “We’ve got a whole new UI coming up that you will have to experience for yourself to really understand.”

It adds that the goal was to express the OnePlus design language in the user interface and to make this the “most distinct and intuitive version of OxygenOS yet.” That’s obviously up to the users to decide whether or not the claims hold any truth.

The forum post used to deliver this tidbit also mentions that the navigation gestures have been improved for the OnePlus 6T. Further information about this and the user interface changes that have been made will be revealed when the device is announced. The OnePlus 6T is due for unveiling on October 30th and it will go on sale starting November 6th.
