If you’re looking for more wireless alternatives, then you will be interested to learn that HMD has announced the Nokia True Wireless earbuds and the Pro Wireless earphones. The former (see photo above) is styled like a “true” wireless earphone where each bud is not connected via a wire, versus the Pro Wireless which features a cable that connects the earbuds together, but otherwise relies on a wireless connection.
According to HMD, the True Wireless earphones will offer up 3.5 hours of use time and are waterproof. They also come with a charging case that lets users recharge the earbuds a total of three times (effectively giving users a total of 16 hours of battery life). The Pro Wireless will offer up to 10 hours and will also have built-in vibration that lets you know when a call is coming in.
In terms of pricing, the Nokia Pro Wireless will be priced at $79, while the True Wireless will go for $148, making it a cheaper alternative to Apple’s AirPods and what some of the competition is offering.
