ASUS has launched a new all-in-one desktop today called the Zen AiO 27. It’s the latest in the long line of AiOs that the company has released so far. The interesting thing about this particular one is that it has an integrated wireless charger in its base. The charger will enable users to charge their Qi-enabled devices when they’re placed at the base.
As far as the technical specifications go, the Zen AiO 27 has a 4K 27 inch touchscreen display, 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700T processor with 16GB of RAM and a 2TB hard drive. It also has an NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics card and a 512GB PCIe SSD.
Those are the kind of specs that you would expect from a high-end desktop in this day and age so this ASUS contender does not fall short. It comes with three USB Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI out and in, and a Thunderbolt 3 port. There’s an IR camera with Windows Hello support and Alexa is supported as well.
The 7.5W Qi wireless charger is integrated in the base so phones can be charged when they’re placed on it. Interested customers can order one right now from retailers like Amazon and Newegg for $1,999. Nobody said this desktop was going to be cheap!
