Nerf guns are toys that seemed to be aimed at kids, but yet they are beloved by many an adult. Hasbro seems to be aware of this which is why they have in the past teamed up with Blizzard to create Nerf guns based on Overwatch. Last month the company announced that Epic’s Fortnite Battle Royale would be getting a similar treatment.
Details were a bit scarce back then, but now Nerf has officially unveiled the first blaster that they will be creating for Fortnite, which you can see for yourself in the image above. For those unfamiliar with the game, this is the Fortnite AR-L Blaster. The toy gun will be capable of rapid-fire shooting, thanks to a built-in motor, and will also come with a flip-up sight along with a 10-dart clip and 20 Elite darts.
So far this is the only Fortnite gun that has been unveiled, although given the variety of weapons we’ve seen from the game we imagine that Nerf probably has a few more up their sleeves that have yet to be officially announced. That being said, the bad news is that if this a toy that you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on, you might have to wait because it is only expected to go on sale come 1st of June, 2019 where it will retail for $50.
This means that you’ll have to wait for more than half a year before you’ll be able to get your hands on it, so you’ll have to practice some patience until then.
