Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out next year and we’re sure that there are some out there who have never played the series before and are wondering what the fuss is all about. The good news is that if you’ve never played it before and want to catch up before playing the third installment in the franchise, Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far has been announced.
This is essentially a collection of Kingdom Heart games bundled into a single package. It will be launching the PS4 come 30th of October and will contain Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue which will save players from having to make separate purchases. It will also cost $40 which makes it a pretty affordable bundle.
However as Polygon points out, the games aren’t necessarily in chronological order which means that while you will get all the content leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3, if you’re playing purely for the story then you’ll need to figure out the timeline on your own, although given the popularity of the game there are plenty of resources and guides out there that should be able to help you.
