In an announcement on its website, Apple has confirmed that the iOS 12.1 update will be available tomorrow, and that the update will be bringing about Group FaceTime and dual SIM support to compatible devices. Group FaceTime was a feature originally announced as part of iOS 12, but it was not part of the update when it was released.
However for those wishing to take advantage of the feature, then iOS 12.1 will be an update to look forward to. Note that not all devices will support Group FaceTime, but for the most part Apple’s newer iPhones and iPads should not have any issues. The update will also enable support for dual SIM functionality on the iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and the iPhone XR.
Other features to look forward to includes Depth Control where users can adjust the depth of field in real-time before snapping their photos. There will also be more than 70 new emojis that users can access.
