This is why Google has introduced Dropbox integration with Gmail in the past for consumers, but the good news is that if you’re a G Suite user (Google’s attempt at catering to enterprise users), then you might be pleased to learn that Google has announced additional third-party integrations for Gmail, Dropbox included.
These integrations include Box where the add-on for Gmail will let users quick attach files to emails from their Box accounts. The same will be applicable for Dropbox, where users can choose to either attach a file directly from their Dropbox account to Gmail, or insert a link if they prefer.
There will also be support for Atlassian where users can add previews of Jira issues to their emails, or from Bitbucket. Last but not least is Egnyte where the add-on will let users save email attachments to Egnyte, as well as link Egnyte files and folders in their Gmail compose window.
