Google is yet to officially announce the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL even though both new devices have been thoroughly leaked. If that wasn’t enough, the Pixel 3 XL is already being sold as well even though the company hasn’t made the device official yet. Google’s event for the new handsets is scheduled for October 9th.
A retailer in Hong Kong has reportedly started selling the Google Pixel 3 XL and Engadget was able to get their hands on the unit through the retailer. The shop in Hong Kong is called WahPhone Digital and it’s selling the Pixel 3 XL before its official launch for approximately $2,030.
That’s obviously much more than what Google will officially charge for this device. Nevertheless, you have to pay a premium if you want to buy a device before it’s even announced. The retailer has somehow managed to get the units prior to the release.
The report mentions that the Pixel 3 XL has a 6.3 inch display with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, 128GB storage, and 4GB of RAM. It’s speculated that there might be a variant with more RAM as well. The handset also features a 12.2 megapixel primary rear camera and dual 8 megapixel front facing cameras for extra-wide selfies. No word as yet on the pricing and availability details of the device in markets like the U.S.
