Epic’s Fortnite Battle Royale has been making the company a ton of money. Earlier this year it was reported that the game had managed to earn a cool $100 million on iOS, but now according to the folks at Sensor Tower, they claim that the game has since managed to pull in a very impressive $300 million so far.
Take note that this amount is only for iOS devices, which means that when you take into account how much the game might have made on other devices, it should definitely be a lot more. The game was reported to be making an average of $2 million a day on iOS and these figures definitely show.
As it stands based on its earnings, Fortnite seems to be the fastest earning game on iOS devices so far. Sensor Tower’s data revealed that other games such as King’s Clash Royale only managed to make $228 million in its first 200 days, while other titles such as Honor of Kings and Knives out made around a third of what Fortnite did.
So far there doesn’t appear to be signs of the game slowing down which means that we imagine that Epic is set to earn a lot more money in the future as more seasons and updates of the game are released. Sony also recently made Fortnite cross-play compatible which we imagine should also encourage more adoption.
