When it comes to drones, there are so many different types of drones to choose from. These drones range from being palm-sized used for fun, to larger models used for photography and videography, then even larger models that are used for industrial purposes, which DJI has recently unveiled in the form of the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise.
However unlike the more expensive DJI Matrice drones, the Mavic 2 Enterprise seems to be aimed more towards smaller to medium businesses who are looking to get started in drones but don’t necessarily need all the high-end features of the Matrice, and who also don’t want to spend too much money upfront.
The Mavic 2 Enterprise will come with a 12MP camera which is stabilized by a 3-axis gimbal. There will be 2x optical zoom and 3x digital zoom features, which according to DJI will help with search and rescue operations and inspections as it allows the drone to get a closer look without flying into danger.
The drone will also support the addition of modular accessories, such as a spotlight, a loudspeaker, a flashing strobe beacon, and more. There will also be safety features such as DJI’s AirSense tech that lets the drone operator know if there are aircrafts nearby, which will come in handy if you’re flying the drone in an area that might be congested with air traffic. In terms of pricing, the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise will be priced at $2,000 and is available for purchase via authorized retailers.
