While Marvel might have been having a lot more success on the big screen, DC has been enjoying a fair amount of success on TV, where shows like Arrow and The Flash have been very well received. For those excited to see what else we can expect from DC, then the Titans trailer above might be worth checking out.
According to DC’s description of the upcoming series, “Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.”
For those unfamiliar, Titans will be streamed via DC Universe, which is DC’s own streaming service and we guess is kind of the company’s way of anticipating Disney’s own streaming service which will launch next year where we can expect to find Marvel shows on it as well. The DC Universe subscription will give users access to movies, TV shows, and also comics, with Titans being the first series to be launched on the platform. Titans will be available to stream starting on the 12th of October and for those interested, head on over to the DC Universe website to find out how to subscribe.
