While games like Call of Duty and Battlefield are known for their multiplayer aspects, there are some gamers who do appreciate being able to play a single-player campaign every now and then. While Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 dropped its single-player mode, EA’s Battlefield V has not.
In fact the official trailer for the single-player campaign has been released, giving gamers a brief 2 minute look into what they might be able to expect from the game’s single-player mode. The description reads, “Discover the untold stories of World War 2 with Battlefield V’s single player War Stories. In Nordlys, resist German occupation in Norway, sabotage behind enemy lines as an unlikely English soldier in Under No Flag, fight for a home you’ve never seen in Tirailleur, and in The Last Tiger (available in December) join the crew of a Tiger I as they question why they fight.”
Battlefield V is currently set for a release on the 20th of November. The game was previously scheduled for a release on the 19th of October which is this coming Friday, but was delayed. According to DICE, the developer of the game, they claim that this was done to allow them to make some final adjustments to the game, but with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 released on the 12th of October, it is possible that EA and DICE didn’t want the games to overlap each other.
