For the most part the Apple Pencil is good in its current form, but we have been hearing rumors about a possible update to the device in which leakster Benjamin Geskin has shared some alleged details on Twitter. According to Geskin, the Apple Pencil 2 will feature some changes in its design, where the silver rail on the device is said to have been removed to make it more minimalistic.
The stylus is also alleged to have new gestures built into the device itself, where users can tap and swipe along the Apple Pencil to pull off certain commands. It is also said to be magnetic where users can clip it alongside the new iPads. Geskin also mentions a new charging method, something that many iPad users have been begging for given that the current method is somewhat ridiculous, and it has been speculated that maybe the magnetic clipping of the Apple Pencil to the iPad could be that new way of charging.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now but with Apple’s iPad and Mac event set for the 30th of October (tomorrow), we should have all the official details soon enough.
