This comes in the form of the Steel HR Sport which is essentially an updated version of the Steel HR that launched a couple of years ago while Withings was under the Nokia banner. The device will come with features like GPS connectivity, oxygen intake sensors, a heart rate monitor, a 25-day battery life, and basically all the features you might expect from a smartwatch in this day and age.
The analog watch face has also been updated but retains its digital screen that will show users information at a glance, like notifications and certain health data. Given the “Sport” branding, it’s not surprising that Withings has chosen to give the smartwatch a sporty look, whereas the previous release looked more like a dress watch, although it’s not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you need it for.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, the Withings Steel HR Sport will be available 18th of September and is priced at $200.
