Red Dead Redemption 2 is highly anticipated by fans of the franchise who have had to wait for a long time to get the sequel. It’s due to arrive soon and some details are now being confirmed about the title. The PlayStation 4 Pro bundle for this title was recently announced for this title as well. It turns out that the Red Dead Redemption 2 storage space requirement is quite massive.
It’s no surprise that game install sizes are gradually getting bigger as the demand for 4K visuals drives developers to oblige players who own powerful gaming consoles like the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The confirmation about Red Dead Redemption 2 storage requirement comes from the fine print on the PS4 Pro bundle’s box which mentions that Rockstar’s upcoming title requires a minimum of 105GB of free storage space on the console.
It’s far from some of the most chunky games we have seen. For example, Final Fantasy comes in at a whopping 148GB on PC. Many players who own the original PS4 with 500GB of storage will certainly have to shift many things around to make space for this title if they have been waiting to pick up a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The bundle’s box also reveals that the multiplayer component, Red Dead Online, is going to have support for up to 32 players. It will be out in November as a beta. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th.
