Razer Launches Ifrit Broadcaster Headset

We know that Razer already makes several different types of gaming headsets, but in case you’re in the market for a new headset, then you might be interested to learn that Razer has since announced the launch of the Ifrit broadcaster headset, which as the name implies seems to be more geared towards broadcasters.

According to Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO, “With non-gaming live streaming becoming more popular, we designed the Razer Ifrit to appeal to broadcasters who want a lightweight, high-quality solution to their broadcast audio needs. Whether you’re IRL streaming, gaming, painting, cosplay costume building or cooking, the Razer Ifrit is the perfect headset to deliver audio to your viewers without bulky headphones and microphones getting in the way of what you do or what your viewers see.”

The headset has been designed to be light and unobtrusive which makes it easy to be transported and packed while you’re on the go. Given that these are also earbuds and not over/on-ear headphones, it might be preferable for those who prefer earbud style headsets. The headset will also come with the optional Razer USB Audio Enhancer that improves the microphone quality and also allows for dual streaming with two broadcasters at once.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, the Razer Ifrit will be available priced at $100, while the Razer USB Audio Enhancer will retail for an extra $20.
