The good news is that if the rumors are accurate, Apple won’t be increasing the price of its iPhones. According to a report from Macerkpof (via 9to5Mac), it seems that Apple’s 2018 iPhones will be priced starting at $699. This will be for the rumored 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model which will represent a more affordable alternative.
Then there will be the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs which is rumored to be priced starting at $800, and for the larger iPhone Xs Max, it will basically take over the pricing of last year’s iPhone X and will be priced starting at $999. Now we know that $999 still isn’t by any means cheap or affordable, but at least Apple didn’t increase the price to match the screen size.
That being said there’s no way to confirm these prices, but this is not the first time we’ve seen or heard about these pricing points, so at the very least the reports have been consistent. Apple will be officially announcing their new iPhones on the 12th of September so check back with us next week for all the official details.
