Last week Nintendo announced plans for a Nintendo Direct presentation that would have taken place on the 6th of September. Unfortunately this did not come to pass as Nintendo decided to postpone the presentation due to the earthquake that took place in Hokkaido. The company was expected to reschedule it, but so far they have not mentioned anything.

However according to new reports, it has been suggested that the new Nintendo Direct presentation could take place on the 13th of September. The report comes from the Twitter account of Platinum Train, a game that is currently exclusive to Japan. The tweet claims that Direct will now take place on the 13th of September and that there will be a “surprise announcement” made.

It is unclear as to what Nintendo will be announcing, but there have been some games that were announced for the Switch last week, such as Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD which we imagine Nintendo would have probably announced during their presentation as well. New Pokemon-themed Switch consoles have also been announced, and it is unclear if those would have also been part of the Direct presentation.

We expect that Nintendo will also most likely share some details about its upcoming online subscription service. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but we should find out soon enough if the rumors are true.
