As great and portable as smartphones and tablets are, when it comes to productivity it’s hard to beat a regular computer or a laptop. However if you absolutely must use a smartphone or tablet, then perhaps getting a keyboard attachment for it could be an alternate way to help boost your productivity.
If that sounds good to you, then Zagg might have the solution as the company has recently taken the wraps off its new Flex keyboards which have been designed for mobile devices in mind. As you can see in the photo above, this is a compact keyboard and does away with the number pad, making it smaller and more portable.
It connects using Bluetooth which means that in theory, it should hook up to just about any device that has Bluetooth, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptops, or even a desktop PC. However it was designed more for mobile devices, thanks to a foldable cover that lets users pack it up and bring it with them on the go. The cover also doubles as a stand to help prop up a smartphone or tablet for more comfortable viewing angles.
There will also be support for multiple pairings, meaning that you could hook it up to a smartphone and a tablet at the same time, and switch back and forth easily if you need to tend to two things at once. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, the keyboard is currently available for pre-order via Zagg’s website where it is priced at $80 and is pegged for a release late September.
