Sony is expected to launch the Xperia XZ3 in the coming weeks but the company is yet to confirm when it’s going to do that. A purported render of the device has now been leaked online and it gives us some design cues. While earlier leaks had suggested that this device might have a dual camera system at the back, this render only shows a single rear camera.

Conflicting renders of the Xperia XZ3 have been leaked online in the past few weeks. There has thus been confusion about the handset’s rear camera – whether it will have a single camera or a dual camera.

This latest render subscribes to the former. There’s no dual rear camera and the Xperia XZ3 will only get a single camera system at the back. It has what appears to be a fingerprint sensor placed below the lens as the tall display at the front doesn’t leave much space for a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor.

As far as the camera itself is concerned, The Xperia XZ3 is believed to feature Sony’s IMX586 48MP sensor and may also have a dedicated shutter button. It may also have a Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood and other flagship-level specifications.

It’s possible that Sony might announce the device at the upcoming IFA 2018 convention in the coming week. It has used the IFA stage previously to announce new devices.
