Samsung Now Accepting Reservations For The Galaxy Note 9

Samsung has confirmed that they will be officially launching the Galaxy Note 9 on the 9th of August, but when the phone will be launched remains to be seen, although a recent leak seems to have suggested that we might be looking at the 24th of August. Now we’re not sure how difficult it will be to get the Note 9 upon its release, but it seems that you can now reserve it.

In a page launched on Samsung’s website, it appears that the company is currently accepting reservations for the upcoming Note 9. This seems like Samsung getting ahead of themselves since no one knows for sure what kind of specs or features the Note 9 will come with, and more importantly how much it costs.

However the good news is that it appears that this reservation system will not require users to put down any money upfront. If anything we suppose this sounds like an interest check, but presumably it will notify users and allow them to buy a handset upon its release, or when pre-orders are open.

Samsung is also informing customers about a potential trade-in program where depending on the device, you will be able to save as much as $450 towards the Note 9. So far it seems that the trade-in only applies to phones made by Samsung, Apple, LG, and Google, so all other brands are out of luck.
