Given OnePlus tends to release two smartphones every year, it is safe to assume that in 2018, OnePlus is expected to follow up with the OnePlus 6T which will be the successor to the OnePlus 6 that was launched earlier this year. Rumors are claiming that the phone could launch via T-Mobile in October, and now there is proof that that could happen.

It appears that the phone has recently been spotted at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). This would seem to hint that the phone is getting closer to launch, and given that we are now approaching September, an October launch doesn’t seem out of the question. Details about the OnePlus 6T are scarce at this point in time, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

However based on last year’s OnePlus flagship smartphones, the differences between the models probably won’t be too great. Last year’s OnePlus 5 and 5T saw a difference mostly in the display where the resolution on the latter was increased, but other than that the chipset used was the same along with the clock speed, RAM, storage, and camera.

This year’s OnePlus 6 came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and 6/8GB of RAM, and 128/256GB of storage, so we expect that those specs should be maintained, or maybe we could be getting a 512GB storage option. Perhaps the cameras could be upgraded as well. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
