A couple of weeks ago, Hasbro unveiled a new Nerf gun. The company unveils new Nerf guns from time to time, but what made this unveiling particularly interesting is the fact that this Nerf has been designed to look like Overwatch’s Reaper’s gun. Given that many of Overwatch’s characters use guns, it seems like this was just the start of the lineup.
Turns out we weren’t wrong because Hasbro and Blizzard have since unveiled their new Nerf blaster which comes in the form of D.Va’s Light Gun. The blaster has been faithfully replicated to look like the character’s blaster from in the game which means that if you’re a cosplayer, your costume should get a lot more authentic-looking come 2019 when the toy is set for a release.

Unfortunately Hasbro did not mention how much it would cost and when exactly in 2019 it will be released, so we’ll just have to wait. However given that Nerf blasters generally aren’t that expensive, you shouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg to get your hands on it. Like we said, Overwatch is home to many heroes with guns so following this announcement, we wouldn’t be surprised if more Overwatch Nerf blasters were revealed at a later date (Tracer, we’re looking at you!).
